Khayalethu Primary School History

Our History & Heritage

Khayalethu Primary School has been a cornerstone of the Jouberton community for over three decades. Named after the Xhosa word "Khayalethu" meaning "Our Thought," the school reflects the community's aspiration to nurture young minds and foster intellectual growth.

Established as an ordinary public primary school, we have grown from humble beginnings to become a respected institution in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda Education District. Our journey has been marked by continuous improvement, adaptation to educational reforms, and an unwavering commitment to our learners.

As a Quintile 3 school, we serve families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, providing quality education without school fees while maintaining high academic standards.
